We arrived from the airport @ 0930 hours well before normal booking in time. We used this guest house for a short stay in the Borders. We had a beautifully presented room on the ground floor with 2 very comfy beds. The breakfast was 5 star standard with the basil leaf on the cooked tomato indicative of the care taken with the food preparation. Good value for money. More

i have just returned from a two night stay at Allerton House and wish it could have been longer. Immaculaely clean with hosts who are welcoming but not intrusive.The single room bed was very comfortable and the fridge a useful touch.
