Went up for three days and thought the place was lovely , staff very nice, rooms were spotless . Decor does need a bit of up grading but I had a flat screen tv Clean room so was quite happy and I feel the deco adds carecter. Friendly hosts and staff, spottlessly clean rooms,freshly cooked breakfast, and a beautiful area what more do you need for a weekend away. Scenery in the area is well worth the long trip north. More

Nice hotel overlooking a decayed port. Very friendly staff, nice size rooms and spotlesly clean. Real value for money, but it looks like the hotel has stuck in the 80's. Could do with a refurbishment. More

The hotel is next to a fish factory, decor is very dark and dated and the rooms smell damp. The breakfast finishes at 0930 and checkout is at 11- both strictly enforced! Not cheap at the price- I wouldn't recommend it. More

We stayed three nights at the Culag while walking in the area. The hotel is well and sympathetically run by Ken, Sheila and their daughter.
