Great location, easy access to the mountains, lakes and rivers. Also ½ hour drive to Bristle Pines – trees that are over 2,000 to 4,000 years old

I stated at two other LaQuinta along my 3000 mile road travel journey and this La Quinta did not live up to the others in many ways (lack of maintenance, tiny bathroom, and cleanliness) but the staff is very friendly and helpful more than meeting expectations. Perhaps other rooms are better but the common areas, particularly the rear entries seem...

Staff cared about us, the bed was comfy but the bathroom was tiny. I asked for a room far away from the noise for our second night and they put us up stairs, which is where I suggest if you need a peacefull sleep. The breakfast had what it advertised, waffles, apples, bannanas, packaged oatmeal, milk and coffee. Not bad...

On a regular basis, I find myself in Bishop. It is a wonderful town in the rugged eastern Sierra. It sits at the junction of US 395 and US 6. While Bishop is the largest outpost of civilization in Inyo county, the county seat is actually in Independence located farther south on 395. Over 2/3’s of the population in the...

I recently made a trip to the Eastern Sierra with my wife to view the fall color. We chose to stay at the La Quinta Inn in Bishop. It was an excellent choice. Our room #231 upstairs at the back of the building was quiet, well-decorated and spacious. The king-size bed was very comfortable and included 5 fluffy pillows. The...

I don't usually post gripes about the staff however in this hotel, both staff members at front desk were terse and rude, particularly the Mexican lady who called herself Chiquita. Perhaps they were both having bad days.
The rooms themselves were average - clean, but decor was dated. In particular the bedding. Main gripe is the air-con - have it...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I want to first apologize for the staff members being rude. That should never happen in a professional environment and I assure you that I have met with both of our staff members and the issues have been corrected. As for the paintings and the A/C we are slowly replacing...

We stayed here one night when travelling from yosemite to Las Vegas. Nice service, OK hotel. Not the newest in town, but good value for money.

We have stayed at this chain before, but after this one - never again. The front desk clerk was very unfriendly and the room was sub-par. The bathroom was TINY and the toiletries and fixtures were CHEAP. If you are only staying for one night (like my husband and me), it is tolerable, but we will never stay there again.

Upon our arrival the booking we had made, was lost. There was no room available. If you make a booking weeks in advance via the web site booking.com with your credit card, you expect at least to get a solution offered by the hotel when they make a mistake. The guy at the desk said he did see our names...
