Basic, clean, and friendly; I enjoyed having a place to rest, and didn't worry about walking on the carpet in bare feet. Burney is a small town that covers the basics. This hotel also covers the basics. I really enjoyed being able to open the window in the bathroom, and the window in the main room to get a fresh... More

My husband I stayed at the Charm? Motel. We made our reservations back in February, and when we got there we wanted to pay with cash, we were told at this time we had to give them a refundable $100.00 on top of our motel fee. We are in our middle 60's and drive a 2011 car, no where on... More

We stayed here while visiting Burney Falls on a family road trip. The motel was clean and very basic with exterior corridors. The TV was a small tube set- no flat screens here. They did provide a fairly weak free WI-FI. Breakfast was provided at the main office- very simple fare- oatmeal packets, bars, etc. Overall, a decent place to... More

Stayed here last week. We were 3 adults with two queen beds, think they were actually doubles, seemed small to us. However, It was better than the hotel next door (Green Gables). We drove in and met Jackie, the manager. She was about as friendly as a grouchy bear. Should have known when I talked to Jackie on the phone... More

Not many choices in Burney which is a great spot to access nearby waters. The place is not very charming (drab) but very clean and functional. Beds were comfortable and they had a great laundry. Kitchen was small but worked. Note that the refrigirator is small (think RV size). The office staff is friendly and very helpful. If you do... More

We've stayed here many times and it's a great place to stay, especially if you're fishing nearby like we do. There is a fish cleaning table with running water and there is an ice machine to fill your ice box with to keep your fresh fish cold until you get back home. Not fancy, but it's comfortable.

When on road trips, I try to pick a hotel that's off the beaten path, and not a mega-hotel chain. So I lapped a few times around town, and found this place. I checked in with a nice older lady who answered all my questions and offered me pretty much either hotel (they have 2 large U shaped buildings there)... More

The room was not only small, it was filthy ! King bed actually sunk down almost 3" on one side due to box springs being broken and bottom falling out. Towels were like sand paper and you were allowed 2 only. Housekeepers all smoked inside rooms as they cleaned them (I saw 2 in one room at a time with... More

I went here with my husband and 2 yr old. The rooms are small. The bathing area hardly had space for you to move. I found it hard to bathe my son there. The kitchen has everything you need: stove, fridge, sink. So it worked for me. But its not a hotel room you look forward to going back to.... More

Funny that one person said "If you want a good night's sleep...". I had a great night's sleep and am not one that sleeps well on the road. However I went in the summer. I didn't need to run any AC at night. I just opened the windows and let the great fresh air in. I know running heater and... More
