We recently had the opportunity to take breakfast in the beautiful garden overlooking the vineyards at this great little B&B. The menu was herb scrambled eggs with chardonnay, but I'm not doing it justice because it was a simply amazing meal in a gorgeous setting. The owner and chef, Philipe was gracious and explained to us that years ago, before... More

My husband and I stayed at Chateau de Vie for 2 nights this past week. We had never been to the west coast and traveled to Calistoga after 2 days in San Francisco. From the moment we arrived at CDV the owners made us feel right at home. They welcomed us to our room where we unpacked and changed to... More

Beautiful grounds and a beautiful view. Food is out of this world!! The owners are incredibly attentive to every detail of your stay, and their personalities make you feel welcome. Loved Chateau de Vie wine!! I would go back in a heart beat.

For the upteenth time, when I was able to get back to Napa Valley, the only place I will stay is at CdV! From the gracious hospitality provided by Pete and Phil. The wine and cheese in the afternoon after check in, to the pool and spa that wound down the day. To the sumptuous beds in the immaculate rooms... More

This place is amazing if you're looking for a relaxed, quiet getaway with high-quality service! Phillip & Peter are such kind, incredibly attentive and welcoming hosts, we didn't want to leave the place, ever! I stayed here for two nights with two friends of mine. We'd booked the Kings Jr. Suite and when we arrived after a 4 hour drive,... More

This B&B was one of the greatest experiences we've ever had while vacationing. I tried to think really hard about any negatives, and honestly, I couldn't--there are none. Everything about this place is amazing and perfection. Phillip & Peter are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. They prepared amazing cheese, fruit, & cracker plates for us to enjoy pool side, delicious... More

This place is a true gem, if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and high quality getaway: clean & comfortable rooms, a lovely house, a beautiful patio, a nice pool and jacuzzi, high-end wine (they produce their own wine, which is better than any of the wines I have tasted in the whole region), the food of a top... This is a beautiful and convenient location for easy wine tasting adventures. The accommodations at Chateau de Vie are comfortable and neat. The hospitality given by Phillip and Peter is top rate. Breakfast here is a favorite on a beautiful morning seated in the patio next to the vineyards overlooking the valley to the mountains. Phillip served us his warm... More

We just had the pleasure of spending three nights at Chateau de Vie. All I can say is Amazing!!! The innkeepers Phillip and Peter are very friendly and know how to make sure all your needs are met; including a fabulous breakfast cooked by Phillip and served by Peter. They made dinner reservations for us and guided us to wineries... More

Since we are big supporters of Trip Advisor and a lover of B&Bs and small Inns, I feel obligated to comment on the room described on the phone as having a bathroom across the hall. The bathroom is actually down the hall past the entrances to two other rooms and the morning coffee and tea for early rising guests are... More

Our apologies for not being able to meet the expectations of these guest. As our Chateau is in the middle of Vineyards, it was built as a traditional French Bed and Breakfast, and we were left after upgrades and renovations, with one Guest Room with a full bath, across the hall, not in the room, however private to that room....
