This hotel was a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, friendly staff clean rooms, and contemporary atmosphere. Longe area where breakfast and wine tasting is served was very inviting and comfortable. Highly recommend.

The staff was great and helpful. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The staff warmed up food that we had brought with us since we have special diet restrictions. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It's right off of Hwy 1 and within walking distance to town.

My uncle and I were looking forward to our road trip up Highway 1 and an overnight at the El Colibri Hotel. Due to a medical emergency, we had to curtail the trip. I called and sent a follow-up email to cancel. The hotel gave no response. None. Zip. Just charged us full pop. An overall miserable experience.
