Hotel Borinquen is a beautiful green oasis. If you are looking to relax and enjoy nature this will be a great place to start your trip in Costa Rica. Their staff and service was amazing. The villa was exceptional. Large, beautiful accommodations with private balcony and hammock. The food was good, and the grounds were lovely. Large rooms in a very peaceful and green environment. A large swimming-pool with a volcanic sauna, mud baths, hot and cold water basins... It's a quite big resort with groups. Went with another family and had a great time. Food was amazing, the staff was very kind and helpful, and the kids loved the pools. Accommodations are really nice and the rooms with hammocks on patio are highly recommended! Our kids were too small to do any excursions but I've heard the waterfall/horseback ride tour is fantastic. More
