The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to ever leave. It was like sleeping on a cloud. The room was large and clean and it was an excellent retreat for the night. The staff was very friendly and helpful and all the facilities felt like it was a five diamond resort. I especially love that they have a separate... More

When I think of the Park Hyatt brand, the following words come to mind – contemporary, distinctive, and elegant. In the case of the Park Hyatt Aviara the only word that applies is elegant. It is evident that this is a former Four Seasons Hotel. The décor is refined, and there is an heir of pretention among the staff. Unfortunately,... More

This was a Four Seasons Resort now Hyatt. The facilities are extremely nice. My wife and I were there for a conference which was excellent. The check in was fine. We asked for a room with a different location which they were happy to accommodate. The bellhop was also very friendly and helpful. I did play golf and all the... More

I just returned from a very large meeting at the Aviara. We took up the entire hotel for three days. The service from start to finish was outstanding. The food, given the large numbers, was very good. If you are traveling on your own, however, the lobby bar is really the only place to have a casual meal. The Italian... More

Since the management of the property began some 15 years ago this balcony on the lagoon has been my favorite in SoCal. Recently returned expecting changes in management that would be apparent to guests. Not as I thought. Four Seaons turned over to Park Hyatt about two years ago. This is still the place to retreat. Maybe guests appreciate the... More

Tagged along with my husband on a 5 day business trip. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting. We had a first floor room where the patio walked out to the pool area - landscaping/gardens were well-kept and provided room privacy. The weather was cold and misty - but I still spent much time at the adult pool area/hot... More

Arrived late, excellent front desk, very friendly. Woke up on Saturday to go eat breakfast, got locked in my room, umm 5th floor....imagine if there had been an emergency, I would be stuck! It took about 1.5 hours to get out of the room, started to feel freaked out. While stuck in my room, and waiting on the guy outside... More

We enjoy this hotel for a quick local getaway. Rooms are nice, clean and well maintained. The restaurant serves good food in the lobby. The food in the Bistro Cafe was also good. This place has REAL Chefs working there and you can expect REAL meals. The tea service was not that great they are stingy on the tea.. Surprisingly... More

The Park Hyatt Aviara continues to give top notch service in a beautiful setting. It still looks like a Four Seasons. We had 2 kids - aged 8 and 9 - with us and they loved the pool area. Husband and boys played golf and were very pleased with the driving range and clubhouse for lunch. When we checked in... More

Hotel was great. Rooms were nice, had view of courtyard, very nice. Balconies very spacious. Lost power for 8 hours on one day and about and hour on another day. Location was good, about 2 miles from the beach. Very nice pool areas. Lobby bar was very nice. Overall would recommend the hotel. We had kids and they really enjoyed... More
