The room was below average. Absolutely no frills here. No radio in the room. TV was a 20" with Showtime. The bed - extremely hard and uncomfortable. We were quite impressed with the facilities at Carlsband including the heated pool. Enjoyed a swim there. Staff very helpful and friendly. Much better than other places we have stayed at in Carlsbad at higher rates. Will stay there when we come again next year. More
