We really enjoyed the breakfast delivered to our door each morning! The nice treats, coffee, and cocoa in the lobby were great. The welcome coupons helped us get out to different places as well. The rooms were clean and well cared for and all the staff was pleasant and friendly. More

The location can't be beat, but don't expect much else. It is so dated and in need of a facelift - more so than anywhere I've ever stayed. However, even so, we had a great weekend in Carmel. We could've stayed in a paper bag and still had a great time! More

This was my first trip to Carmel and I am a Ca. native! Dolphin Inn is in a nice location and easy to find. I didn't know what to expect for parking and was very pleasantly suprised to find plenty of parking in the lot. I was allowed to park there the entire time even when I was out sightseeing,... More

Look, like most in Carmel this place won't make you swoon. It is a little tatty, and could use some capital funds to upgrade the furnishings. However, the staff is very accomodating. We had a "Problem", which was dealt with professionally and to our satisfaction. The location is very good for exploring the village. Delivered continental breakfast is a nice... More

We stayed at the Inn for our Honeymoon 30yrs ago, and we keep coming back. Love the location, can walk to town and to the great resturants like the Carmel Bistro Giovanni , two blocks away. Visit in the winter or spring and get half off the room! More

We have stayed at the Dolphin Inn many times over the years, and the quality of service, the decor, comfort of the beds, real feather pillows, continental breakfast and newspaper left on your doorstep every morning, and the friendliness of the staff (not to mention their homemade cookies in the office), plus reasonable prices are all reasons we keep returning.... The staff is outstanding. We stayed last year and what changed this year was the breakfast that was left at our door. I can not tell you how cool that is - to have breakfast delivered to one's door! We had stayed at the Village Inn for quite a few years. When they doubled their rates, guests who had been... More

We have stayed here a couple of times over the years and this place is not fancy, but it is clean and certainly convenient to town and within walking distance to just about everything. We always try to stay in the end unit nearest the office and parts of the hotel has a 2nd story. Some of the units have... More
