The Doral is a grand old hotel for Palm Springs, but its age is beginning to take its toll. The a/c was not working in my room so had to change, and several things were somewhat "worn", from the lamp base to the curtains, to the side table. Still a great place to stay, but it has aged...

Staff was incredibly friendly, amenities where nice like the pool and dining areas. As far as the room I think my biggest complaint was the bed, they need new mattresses and comforters for sure. The shower curtains could probably be updated as well as they seem a bit worn. As far as not having HD TVs that's no big deal... More

Stained rugs, broken outlets, shabby furniture, busted shade umbrellas and chairs at poolside. Pool staff played obnoxiously loud local rock station on radio. Extra unexpected fee, $15.00 a night resort fee for Priceline customers.

the people that work here are very nice, but this is a serve yourself hotel. if you like golf and tennis all day everyday and that is your purpose then this is probably your place on the cheap. but if you are accompanying others just stay home. the sheets are old. the bedrooms are a la 1970. my husband says... Nice but dated desert property. Golf course still pretty and Concours of vintage autos on first fairway Sunday AM was neat. Breakfast was good but ordinary,nothing to rave about but eggs were done to order.

We spent the weekend there in early February. The grounds are huge, rooms are spacious and well equipped. It was clean. There was still black hair in the shower. when we opened the curtains we were showered with dust. There was one sand covered chair and table on the balcony for two people Took 5 times to turn on the small TV. It really was worse than the worst Motel 6 I've sayed in and Tom Boudette wasn't there togreet up.... More
