Even though this Ayres Hotel is very close to John Wayne airport, the soundproofing is so good that we never heard the planes taking off. More

Stayed here while on biz in the area and would never stay here again. This hotel gives the impression that you are stuck somewhere in time. The hotel is very dated and smells. The rooms while large are just awful. The covers are dusty, the rug could use a major cleaning and the bathroom are barely adequate. That's all the... More

Dear Dalcrew1985 - Thank you very much for your review of our hotel. I do apologize if your stay with us was anything less than remarkable. Our decor is European-inspired and we find that many of our guests find the ambiance unique and appealing in comparison to regular chain hotels, however I am sorry if it was not suited to... More

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The property is clean and well maintained. We booked a jr suite and due to our request for a courtyard view at check in, we were put into a deluxe...the front desk manager should have informed us that we would not get a suite (we would have opt for the suite... If you are staying in the John Wayne airport area, this is most definitely your hotel. It is very comfortable, cozy, spacious beyond belief (the rooms have a bed or two , a two to three person couch with a center table, a desk, a table with two chairs, a kitchenette and in some cases even a hot tub) and... Nice always cleaned rooms. Huge bad, but sometimes if you want to sleep till noon airplanes would not give you such chance. Breakfast is pretty good, and you have some choice. But unfortunately if you stay there for a long time you would certainly notice that it never changes. And it is difficult to eat same food every day. There... More

Beautiful campus, incredibly nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms, amazing complimentary breakfast, easy to get around. Five of us attended for a conference, but came a day early for meetings. There were nice places to meet and talk both outside and inside. We felt spoiled! More

I stayed 3 nights on a business trip. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with a fountain and fragrant plants. I would again request a room with a view of the courtyard, as with the window open the sound of the fountain is lovely. Clean and service-oriented place. Fun restaurants within easy walking distance. Full breakfast included with the room... More

We stayed at the hotel this past weekend while in town for a wedding. Check-in on Friday night was super easy. I asked for (and was granted) a complimentary upgrade, and the gentleman, Allen, at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. The room itself was nice furnishings. The decor and ambiance of the main areas (lobbies, elevators, etc.) were... More

The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the old European decor. The room was cozy and quiet. The whirlpool tub was a great way to relax after a long and tedious drive. Breakfast was better than most. The free parking and breakfast make this hotel a bargain in this area. Would definitely stay again... More
