“A landmark that doesn't cost like one!”

I saw this "mosque shaped" hotel for years and years, and figured it was a landmark and therefore expensive. It turned out NOT to be expensive, to be clean and comfortable, with over-sized rooms with plenty of space, microwave and small fridge--a good place to dig in affordably for a couple weeks, which is what I needed. “Nothing Works Here”

I've stayed here a number of times until I found the Fantastic Super 8 on Harbor Blvd. Nothing works in the room. The showers are terrible; furniture is usually broken, hot water intentionally hides from you, pool is off color; and the older man who helps run the place is like the motel gestapo. “Out Of Control”

Very run down and unfriendly atmosphere, I was outraged when my family and friends would drive in to visit and the owners were prompt to phone and request a 5$ fee for each visitor, after I had already paid too much (280$)for one weeks rent. I have never heard of such a thing, I somhow feel it should be illegal... More

“Love The Mirrors!”

A non-smoking room with a king size bed, double occupancy ran about $58. The room was clean, had a 'fridge I didn't use. Sparcely apointed, no remote control for the TV set.The upside of the place is that the 2 rooms I saw there have mirrors in back of the bed - that is great fun for tristes!
