“Val d'Isere in desparate need to renovation”

We just stayed at Unit #30 at the Val d'Isere complex in Mammoth. The location is excellent next to the new Village complex and the gondola to Canyon Lodge. (The Village has lots of nice new condos including some within a Westin hotel). Unit #30 at Val d'Isere however desperately needs new furniture and furnishings, not to mention new kitchen... More

Stayed at #31, Brand new, BEST location. We could walk to all the new restaurants, nitelife, and shopping! all new stuff. I got up early and skied in trees to the village, and a couple minutes was in the new gondola. the wife woke up later and walked the kids over to the gondola. This was a FANTASTIC vacation!!
