I always stay here when in the Mount Shasta area. The friendly owners keep the hotel clean and ready to use. They are responsive to requests and informative about tourist ideas for the area. Quiet, I get a solid night's sleep each time. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Quick access to and from highway 5. More

This is a wonderful hotel. Super clean with an excellet staff. Close to all that Dunsmuir has to offer. It is so nice to feel safe in your space and you certainly will here. I will always stay here and I am sure you wont regret it of you do too. More

Weary of Motels? Don't blame you, but if you need a clean, safe, and reliable place to sleep this is a great place. For the price this is a sure bet and we will stay here again in the future. There is a fantastic breakfast place down the road and Mt. Shasta is a mere 10-15 minutes North I-5. The... More

The service is impeccable, room is large and clean. I was searching for a quiet place but also in the town and got the perfect place for me. Stayed there 3 nights and if ever I go back in that area, I will stay there again no doubt. Many great places to visit nearby and all the facilities are available. More

I was driving from Los Angeles to Seattle in November. North of Sacramento the I-5 gets very dark. I was cold, sleepy, and tired of driving so I took the off-ramp to Dunsmuir and pulled into the first hotel I saw, the Dunsmuir Inn and Suites. I was greeted immediately in the office by a friendly woman. The check-in process... More

This is small motel on historic main street of Dunsmuir. It is family run and pride is taken in the standards - there are pretty flower beds and the standards of cleanliness are the best i came across in our 2-week tour of California. The room was large and nicely furnished with newish furniture all in pristine condition. There was... More

The accomodations were basic, but clean at this former Travelodge. It's a little bit pricey for this level, but there was very little availability at other hotels this weekend. The owner was very friendly and gave advice for dinner places. The "continental breakfast" consisted of packaged pastries, juice and coffee. More

Pleasantly surprised. All the hotels in Redding were booked so we took a chance on this one. Glad we did. Definitely an older hotel, with minimal remodeling; however, they take pride in their establishment with flower beds, fresh paint, clean rooms, and pleasant staff. At $89 a night with wifi, continental breakfast (we didn't try it but looked very basic),... More

This is a special place to stay because it is a family owned and operated business that is kept very clean with great hospitality from the owners. It is now called the Dunsmuir Inn & Suites (formally the Dunsmuir Travelodge) We ate brunch at an excellent restaurant within walking distance; the Cornerstone Bakery. For dinner we ate a a great... This is a very old and outdated motel property. It is not in a nice area of town. It is also on a busy street so noise from passing vehicles is a problem. The bathroom was small and the tile showed signs of mold stains. It was not a good value for the price. At $115 I expected a little... More
