Good location to see the Avenue of the Giants. Rooms need to be updated. Only two plugs to plug in charger-either the bathroom or unplug the alarm. Sheets pretty worn. Walls very thin. Could hear neighbor using the bathroom.

Front desk personnel were not efficient or knowledgeable. It took 30 minutes to check in due to continuous interruptions from other guests that received wrong room or keys. This is a lovely, quiet hotel with the added attraction of a "wine & cheese" tasting party nightly from 5:30 to 7:30. The staff was very helpful * pleasant. The town seems to close down very early, so if you want dinner, you have to dine early.
