The Grioveland Hotel is a warm and wonderful place to stay. Rooms and beds were very cozy and comfy. We were treated to a visit from Mark Twain during our delicious "period" meal. No flaws here, but is a bit pricey. Price does include a hotel ghost, who thankfully, did not make an appearance during our stay.

I have driven by The Groveland Hotel for many years and was always intrigued about staying there, but with Yosemite as the destination, we always get going. Last night we were like the weary road travelers of yore, and so we decided to stop for the night. I was too tired to check out rooms in advance as I normally...

We have stayed in hotels in many countries around the world, and perhaps we were just unlucky with our room, but.......the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, pillows v old and 'unsleepable', we had to use chair cushions. Curtains didn't fit and were torn. Door was an inch too short so light came in under it all night, even with a...

We also had a Living Social deal. We were very pleased with the charming accommodations, which included 4 chocolate-covered strawberries, a bottle of wine and a lit fireplace when we entered the room. Virginia, at the front desk, was friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere of the area was like living in old-time California. We went next-door to the...

We stayed on a Living Social deal. Great deal. The hotel was very charming, Only took minutes to check in & the perks were great. In our room we were greeted with a chilled bottle of champagne & chocolate covered strawberries. We did not use the voucher for the wine tasting or the couples massage but we did see the...

We stayed on a living social deal, so the perks were good. They prepared in our one bedroom suite, comp champaign and four huge chocolate covered strawberries. Our stay included freshly made breakfast, $35 credit for dinner, $100 credit towards in room massage for two, and free wine tasting at two wineries. I don't know if all this would be...

Stayed here on a Living Social deal, and what a deal! First of all, this is a great place to stay, whether you're heading into Yosemite or not. Groveland is a fantastic, welcoming little town. The rooms were clean and cozy, the restaurant is phenomenal and reasonably-priced. If I have one complaint, it's that the Wi-Fi only worked the first...

The hotel is very cozy and quaint. i couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. a very good hometown feel to this place. the cellar door restaurant which is located inside of the hotel serves really good at really great prices. if this restaurant was in los angeles, they could charge a lot more for the quality of the food.
