4 of us had a lovely stay at the Northwoods Lodge. I had the upstairs bedroom w/ a calming view of the Russian River. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, and hanging out on the spacious deck. Look very carefully before booking this; it is not as it appears. This "lodge" is an old house in a neighborhood with tight quarters. We didn't mean to confuse by using the word Lodge. Yes, it's a single residence, but for fun, with our love for logs and rustic things we used the term Lodge. There were 4 of us that stayed in the Northwoods Lodge and it was perfect. We had plenty of room, the home is very charming and well equiped with anything you may need or want. We stayed in a rental property on the Russian River in Healdsburg, CA (close to Sonoma) that was perfect! It was clean, roomy, well equipped, and beautifully located right on the river.
