What a beautiful inspiring mountain resort near Mammoth and Yosemite. We enjoyed vistas of mountain tops, high waterfalls, rushing streams. You can see the waterfalls from the spa. The resort dining room has tall windows offering views of mountain peaks and trees. The cabins are set pleasantly close to the mountains much like the Ahwanee in Yosemite. Our cabin 114... More

We had a very unfortunate visit that seems to be getting more unpleasant: Our car was essentially totalled by a bear; management was indifferent and the young blonde woman at the front desk seemed to be smirking about our misfortune. The shortest version is that we are aware that bears can be a problem IN YOSEMITE-- but had no idea... More

June Lake is a beautiful part of California and worth a stay if you are skiing Mammoth or on the way to Lake Tahoe. We stayed in January and received a discount on their normal and busy Summer rates. Guests enjoy free use of the indoor pool and gym. The restaurant is brilliant and if you are staying at the... More

For the price we paid per night (approximately $250), we felt the room could be a little bit better appointed. We stayed in room #15 (I believe) back in September 2012. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to operate the overhead fan and light combo unit. Either it was working, 'cause none of the switches made... More

We have been here several times...most recently a few weeks ago. Views are great...rooms are very nice and clean. Dinner service is best in the bar. The spa facility with pool, spa, massage, whatever you want is excellent. While the mountain is closed for skiing...enjoy the solitude...Mammoth is only 20 minutes away if that is what you want. Get back... More

I stayed here llast September, just for one night. It is in a fantastic location and generally the hotel is very good. The room that i had could do with some updating but it was clean. Food was very good and the service was excellent.

I can't comment on the value of the cabins - it met our needs, though was quite pricey. You pay for location far more than anything close to luxury. My complaint is the spa, where I had the laziest massage of my life. I gathered from my requests that the therapist go a little harder that I should have paid... More

We had a great two bedroom cabin, $305 a night. The cabin looked new inside and out. A fireplace with wood stored close outside in a storage closet. Full kitchen, however I did not notice a dishwasher. Two bedrooms, on queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Both bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable. There is a single... More

We have visited June Lake California for many years; it is another one of our favorite destinations. June Lake lies directly to the east of Yosemite National Park-Yosemite Valley (across the Sierras) and 15 miles north of Mammoth Lakes, CA. It is much less commercial than Mammoth Lakes and actually consists of four lakes; June Lake, Gull Lake, Silver Lake... More

We stayed in Cabin #113 named Virginia Lake. It's across the gravel driveway to the trout pond, but still a very lovely view. The resort is charming and peaceful. The cabin, with wood burning fireplace, is clean and nicely appointed. (wood is stacked on a closet on the front porch). There is a wonderful full length porch with a table... More
