OK, So I know this is not a 5 star hotel, but the place is wonderful. Nice rooms, great little quiet sitting areas outside and a great breakfast. As a business owner, can see the hard work that has gone into this place to make it special. Highly recommend.

Just my opinion folks, but I must agree with previous commenters, the folks who own this place are not customer friendly by any stretch of the meaning. We were made to feel so bad that if we had not arrived too late, to travel further down the road to another town we would have done so. I must say the... More

Didn't book in advance but we were fine getting a room in the off season. Rate for room was good value especially as breakfast was included. Breakfast was good - cereal, bagels, hard boiled eggs, fruit and yummy cakes! Available in a lovely room which you could go into all day and quite late (11pm I think it was) and... More

The room was comfortable and the rate was good. We called from the road, about four hours out, and secured a room without making an official reservation. This was probably due to the fact that they had only one other couple staying there, but it was nice that we knew in advance that we had a place to stay. There... More

Situated in an Indian Reservation area, this small motel is very convenient for exploring the wonderful coast and the redwood forests. It is rather old-fashioned, and not elegant, but comfortable enough for a few days. A simple breakfast was included in the price, and WiFi was available in the rooms. There are not many facilities nearby: a store and good... More

If you can't (or don't want to) stay at the Requa Inn, this is a great alternative. The manager, Perry, has done a great job remodeling a retro motel into a place that is homey and clean as a whistle. Not a lot of amenities, nor is there much around the immediate area...just gorgeous scenery with trees tall and proud.... More

Based on the reviews on TripAdvisor, we reserved a room during our visit to the Redwood National Park. However, we never actually stayed here, we were turned away. We arrived after midnight, rang the intercom, and waited. When the manager finally answered the intercom, we explained that we had a reservation for the night. His answer was: "well what do... More

Ravenwood met our expectations. It didn't exceed them, or fall short of them, it simply met them exactly. Which is not a bad thing at all. This is an older motel, in which some money has been invested. No refrigerator or wave in the room, but there is a wave in the lobby which you can use (and a fridge... More

I was a little concerned about the low price and being on an Indian reservation but a gem. Owners keep with loving care. Although just off the main highway very quiet. We were traveling with tweens so got the 2 dble beds , 2 twin room with 2 vanities, 2 bathrooms and divided by a wall large enought to put... More

My family stayed here on our recent trip to the Redwoods and were very pleased. There are not a lot of lodging choices in the area.It is a Motel type environment but many of the rooms have been made into suites and the property is very well cared for. Excellent location to explore the northern Redwoods area (it is about... More
