Outstanding if you just are tired of renting cars to drive around just for the weekend! Stay on the queen Mary which is a taxi ride or airport shuttle away from the Long Beach airport. The food is excellent in their restaurants and very comfy beds and rooms! We upgraded to a bay view king size bed and was very... More

Having been on several other cruises, we were not sure what to expect of the cabin that we booked on the Queen Mary. When we got there we were very surprised that the room was large, very nicely decorated and had opening ports looking at the bay and the city skyline. The room was all wood and the King bed... More

We stayed for our Anniversary and had a lovely time! I had read the reviews before hand and was prepared for the negatives..the walls are very thin, you CAN hear your neighbor extremely well..lol. We were prepared for the parking fee...which is charged to your card when you check in. Also knew that the tour prices were steep so we... More

Being an ocean liner fanatic, I was very much looking forward to staying on board Queen Mary two nights prior to a seven night cruise out of San Pedro. This was my third time to the ship (second time staying overnight) and, by far, this was the best. This was my wife’s first time in California so it was all... More

So much fun! The rooms are charming, wood paneled, so many shelves and cabinets and panels. So interesting to see how people lived in the past. Ate onboard, the Winston...something. Everything cooked to perfection! If we lived nearby, we'd come back just for the restaurant! Teenage son was GIDDY the entire night. He explored every nook and cranny. We all... More

We stood at the Queen Mary for one evening and loved it. Booked a Deluxe Stateroom on a third party site and was able to upgrade to a Family Stateroom for about $20. The rooms are spacious for a ship from the 30's. The antique touches in the room add to the charm. I love the nostalgic feel to the... More

In the 100 year anniversary of Titanic and this years the Costa Line cruise ship disasters I felt safe in experiencing a night on this now permanently mooring famous ship - until around 3 am that was, when we elderly guests were awakened from a deep sleep by the fire alarm. A loudspeaker direction to abandon ship totally spoilt our... More

We loved staying here. If you want a pool or a spa/resort - don't stay here. Go elsewhere. If you want to stay on a historical landmark to see what staying on a luxury liner was like back in the day, do it. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and our family suite even had portholes that opened... More

I have had to really think about how to rate and review this hotel. Bottom line--I am very glad I stayed there and would recommend it to other travelers--but--I would not stay there again. Let me explain. It was a history buff's wonderland. Staying on the same ship on which Churchill, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Bob Hope, and... More
