A pleasant if older hotel located at the end of the old main street. But beware if you are expecting breakfast at the Executive Club. The breakfast is from 6:30-9:30am. In our travels with the Marriott group, admittedly mostly staying at hotels outside the US, we've not encountered such an early finish. As we were there to relax for a...

Stayed here during a recent conference in Long Beach. Hotel was super convenient to the conf center. Room was large and bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean but a little shabby (chipped paint, grout needed repaired). Staff was very friendly and polite. Parking is $16 a day. Starbucks in the hotel is nice but they close at 4pm! Lobby was...

First let me say that the people working here are so friendly and nice. So, it's not about them. Maybe it's about expectations of the Renaissance name.
THE GOOD. The catered food service was unspeakably wonderful. The food provided by the hotel was great too. Staff was warm and friendly and made for a great experience.

I stayed at the Renaissance Long Beach for 4 nights in April for a business trip. I requested a room on the 3rd floor. It was close to the elevators and gym, but the room was very quiet except for the street noise (quieter after rush hour). The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size but could...

I liked the window seat in the room - had a nice view. Room was fairly clean other than a few hairs in the bathroom (eww). Good location. Concierge desk was always unattended when I wanted help. Starbucks closes at 4! Easy to catch public transportation from hotel. Room service breakfast arrived later than requested. Super-comfy bed!!!

We were attending a conference, so we had a very good rate. We stayed on the club level and enjoyed the breakfast and cocktails. It's a smaller set up than some, but very good and friendly attendants. We also had a waterfront view from the 12th floor. There was actually a window seat that we liked sitting on and people/ocean...

The hotel is nice, decent and clean. It meets my minimum three requirements: safety, clean and no bugs. Wait staff is very nice and accommodating. I would recommend for the quality and price. There are many restaurants and shopping easily within walking distance. Our view from the 11th floor is the pier/ocean. We also have a balcony and members placed...

Pretty nice hotel right in the middle of everything with great restaurants nearby, close to the water, close to the Cruiselines and the Queen Mary. Service was friendly. Our room was nice and the place was spotless.
