The guesthouse at UCLA was being renovated, so this was my alternative. Close into Westwood, Peet's, etc. on the northside of campus. The room was a bit tired, but comfortable, and the parking was a real plus here. Friendly and efficient staff, a basic offering for a continental breakfast in the lobby.

This is a conveniently located hotel with a friendly helpful staff and parking! The area is lovely and there are lots of things within walking distance. The rooms are confortable and clean. We will stay here again when in Los Angeles.

I loved staying in the Westwood Village area close to UCLA and many other places to see. Nice hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff and quick/easy check in and out. I recommend it if you are looking for a good deal in Westwood.

Was in LA for the birth of twin grandsons and chose Hilgard House because of a previous stay a year ago. If it wasn't a nice visit a year ago I probably wouldn't of chose it again. Just spent 2 nights and a great find! Lots of great places to eat within walking distances. Friendly staff with free parking with good recommendations for dining out. Also the UCLA Botantical Garden is around the corner and a wonderful place to explore.

My daughter and I chose this hotel because of the location and price and free parking. We were visiting my granddaughter who was at UCLA for the summer. Lovely quaint European-style hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Courtesy Continental breakfast was good. Maid service could have been a tad better. Overall, we were very pleased with our accommodations.
