Large clean, rooms. Friendly staff. Good location in town and convenient to Yosemite. The ac is a little noisy and room 102 had a light shining through the curtains all night, but for the price, it was OK. I would stay again but in a different room because of the light. More

I reserved on line a couple of days in advance because I didn't want to risk finding nothing available as Memorial Day weekend approached. The in-season rates are $99 for a weekday, but $139 for the weekend. Figure about an hour commute to the park in each direction. That is similar to accessing Redwoods Park from its nearest base of... This is a great motel centrally located to shops, restaurants, etc. Reception very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very large clean and comfortable views out of front and back windows, very well priced, this motel is worth the stay. More

We missed out on Yosemite National Park accommodation as we left it too late and we were staying in Merced the night beforehand. We wanted to get closer to the action and El Portal seemed a bit too small with limited selection so we chose Mariposa. This place was great, with spacious rooms well furnished and WiFi. The lodge is... More

Massive room, very well equipped (free wifi, fridge, microwave), very clean, very comfortable and right in the middle of town. Plently of parking and a tiny swimming pool (more like a bath!). Can't recommend this place enough for the price. Takes about an hour to drive to Yosemite Valley but the drive is lovely and worthwhile. Sugarpine Cafe just down... More

I ws SO looking forward to our weekend at the lodge. After a promising referral, I made the reservation...great contact with clerk. We were to arrive late, night clerk was waiting for us, as promised. After check-in, it all went downhill...FAST. We checked in @ 12:30 am after a long work day and then traveling for another 61/2 hrs on... More

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms are roomy and inviting with all the amenities you could ask for. The bed was very comfortable and we didn't hear any noise from our room. We were within walking distance of the historic downtown and all sights to see. Such a lovely place to stay. We will... More

Friendly front desk staff, gave us a lot of useful information about the town and Yosemite. The room is big and facilities are kept in good condition for these kind of hotels. Our room has a balcony, with free wifi. Will lodge again with this place. More

The nicest 'Americas Best Value' lodging we've stayed at. The Mariposa Lodge has been run by the same family for decades. The attention to detail is obvious. Warm greeting upon arrival with recommendations for dinner - all within walking distance. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We got a good, quiet night's sleep. The manager said the next time we visit,... More

My stay was lovely. The rooms are larger than rooms built in current new properties. The Lodge was quiet and comfortable with beds and linens you'd expect to see in much more expensive hotel brands. The courtyard is picturesque and well kept. Fine dining was within a short walk of the lodge. I found the staff, who recommended the excellent... More
