“Ocean view, Bay view and sound of the ocean”

This is a rental property, not a B&B but we were glad we found it in Tripadvisor. It is located at the south end of the Mendocino Bay. You have the view of Mendocino Bay, Pacific Ocean and a little bit of Big River beach right from the unit. You can hear the sound of the ocean from ithe room.... More

I was looking for a truly romantic and private venue to take my wife for our 25th anniversary. I did some research online and decided to try Cypress Cove based on how much people seemed to enjoy their experiences there. I have to say that it lived up to the billing. My husband and I stayed at Cypress Cove over New Year's. The house doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside did not disappoint! We stayed in the downstairs "Cove" and our friends stayed in the upstairs "Pacifica". We had the better view with wrap-around windows, but they had a larger bathroom and full kitchen with stove, etc.... More

Wow! From the moment we arrived, we were mesmerized by the views across Mendocino Bay to the picturesque village of Mendocino! And you're right there at the edge of the bluff so you get to see all the beautiful changes of color as the waves crash on the rocks!
