Take own shampoo and conditioner along with all toiletries as none provided except for 2 bar soaps. If only 2 people are staying in the room you will have suffiecient towels as only 2 sets provided. Do not relay on the continental breakfast as coffee and a cookie are not my definition of a continental breakfast. Hotel was decent for... More

Well I stayed her a few days ago, we had a room that was facing the free way. Check in was through a bullet proof window at night, not out of the ordinary but a little unnerving. Of course on the way up the to the room you have some guy just hanging out at the top of the stairs... More

This was a great place to stay for one night. The room was very cheap, and all I wanted was a clean and inexpesive place to stay for one night. My expectations were not high. I do reccommend it if value is what you are looking for. The lady who checked me in at the desk was very accomodating, as... More

Stayed here for a week and chose the hotel due to the cheap price compared to other hotels in the area. Very basic - not even a clock or shampoo - but very clean and well maintained. Some rooms have a microfridge, for an extra price. Definately a bit noisy being close to the highway, and heard a few trains... More

We stopped here on route to Yosemite from San Francisco, Check-in was easy and trouble free, we have no idea about the area so i cannot comment on the area, seem ok to me, rooms were clean apart from having Black feet after 30 mins of being in room, carpets looked clean but i doubt they were. As a cheap... More

Stayed for one night, basically we just needed a place to sleep. The room was very basic, made bed and a tv, "the towels are kind of scratchy," very much in the league of a Motel 6. Check-in was easy. But the room was LOUD. Very, very LOUD. Our room was on the freeway side of the hotel, literally about... More

We stayed here on a one night stop over on our way to Sonora. I was looking for something acceptable but not overpriced since we would arrive late and leave early. But, when we pulled in to the parking lot my family gave me the look of "Why did you choose this motel?". The neighborhood is on the lower end... More

If your on a budget and looking for just a "basic" room, this is the place for you. I booked this property based on previous comments and the ranking on trip advisor (#3). Positives: Staff was very helpful and accomodating and for the price, well you get what you pay for. Location property is right off hwy 99 southbound so... More

stayed here for one night on the way from Oakland to Yosemite, nothing fancy, but certainly a bargain at about $40. I am giving an above average rating due to the exceptional value. Room was spotless, everything worked properly, the service at the desk was friendly, and of course the Denny's across the parking lot is open 24/7, all you... More

We were on a 12 day road trip from San Antonio to Anaheim to San Francisco, to Vegas, New Mexico and back to San Antonio. I booked all the hotels we were staying on-line and looked at the reviews. The VEGABOND INN in Merced was given good reviews on the Trip Advisor website and decided to stay there. We booked... More
