This is an ok hotel in an incredible location; the rooms although not great are not half bad either. The beds were comfy and the room was pretty quiet, but the bathroom was crazy small especially the shower. The other big glitch is that some of the TV's are so old school that you can't access the movie channel. We... More

Nice remodeled rooms, but there are a few problems with this hotel. Asked for 1st floor, and was told, all King beds were on second floor, not good. So, we had to lug our bags up the stairs, because there is no elevator, not good. Beautiful remodel, but they need to spend some money on soundproofing the rooms. We could... More

The issues you encountered during your stay are all ones that have been corrected or we can help prevent. Our team would most definitely enjoy a chance at giving you a better stay. This was the 8th hotel of 9 that we stayed in during a 3 week stay in California. Arrived here after a 7 hour drive from Sequioa National Park having left there in snow on 31st May 2011! Gorgeous gardens with such a splash of colour that is testimony to the excellent grounds maintenance staff. Had a bay view with... More

My wife and two teenage sons had the last night of our two week Californian road trip at this hotel and perhaps its unfair to compare it with hotels in Las Vegas or Palm Springs but this was the most disappointing we stayed at. The lobby, restaurant and bar were quite nice and customer service from the staff was exemplary... More

We had our wedding reception at the inn at morro bay in the morro bay room. The staff was attentive and professional. They took such good care of us and made sure everything ran extremely smooth. The food was delicious and the wait staff was perfect. We stayed in the bayview cottage and had breathtaking views of the ocean and... More

I just spent 3 days here with my girlfriend. The inn and the grounds were beautiful. Our room was very spacious and clean. We had a bay view from our balcony! The fireplace kept us warm during some chilly nights. The staff here was very attentive. The Inn at Morro Bay provided a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of... More

We've stayed here a few times in the partial view rooms that had hot tubs on the balcony's. As of December 2011 they have been removed. This hotel is marginally above a Motel 6 in amenities and interior design. So the hot tubs were the main draw for us. The fireplaces in the rooms are the only heating system for... More

My husband and I spent three days here over Thanksgiving. The best way to give readers an idea of what this place is like is to list the pro's and con's. You'll see that the "pro's" outweigh the "con's," hence the 4 stars. PRO's 1. Great location. This hotel served as our hub, taking day trips from the inn to... More

Three blissful days and nights. Very courteous staff, from Front Desk to Housekeeping. My room was spotless, the bed & bath linens were spotless. The view was fabulous- great weather. The splashing of the bait fish being chased by seals, the hundreds of birds diving into the water. OMG! And the Monarchs in Morro Bay & Pismo State Parks. I'm blessed.... More
