We spent 4 days and 3 nights here while exploring Yosemite, we found the room to be romantic and quite, would highly recommend for couples looking for a place to unwind, the grounds are nice however the area down by the creek could use some sprucing up but none the less still enjoyable place to relax as well. Very Clean and well kept yet quaint enough. Bill our host made sure the TV worked in our room before we arrived so that our 9 year old won't be bored. Expansive grounds , nice breakfast and close to downtown Oakhurst. I would recommend staying here rather than Mariposa due to its closeness to the park. More

We just spent 4 nights here for a Yosemite vacation. The room was lovely with a fireplace. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were tasty. It is about 20 minutes to the park entrance and over an hour to the valley floor. But the road is beautiful and we did not mind the drive. One advantage of staying in... More

This inn was very lovely, quaint and clean. We enjoyed the assorted breads, fruit and eggs served for breakfast. The spa inside our room was a nice touch to a long, cold day outdoors. I would recommend this inn to others! More

My husband booked a room at this B & B for Valentines day. We have stayed here several times and have always had a very nice stay. This visit was in an upstairs fireplace room. In the past we have stayed in rooms with a whirlpool tub.The breakfast room has wine and coffee plus candy in the evening. In the... More

We stayed at the Hounds Tooth Inn for two nights whilst visiting Yosemite. Our room was large and well equipt with an enormous spa bath. Just the ticket after a long day sightseeing in the heat. There was also a separate bathroom with a large shower. There is a private(ish) seating area outside and because the property is a bit... More

Stayed in the Patio Room with my daughter a weekday night in mid-July. Upon check-in in the early evening, host mentioned there was wine available . . . but no mention of anything else (I'm a nondrinker, and my daughter is a teenager). Grounds and flower bushes overgrown. Mentioned to host that we would be on the road early (7:30-ish)... More

A very nice BnB near the south end of Yosemite NP. It's just off the highway but down a hill so traffic noise was nut a problem in our room - the Firelight. Room size was adequate, cosy decor, good breakfast, reasonable rate (we stayed 3 nights and got the 3rd at 1/2 price). Pretty grounds at the rear where... More

After a long drive, we were delighted with the Hounds Tooth Inn. I noticed a somewhat negative review on this site from a recent quest who stayed in a separate house on the property. I cannot address his experience, but our room in the main inn was everything one would reasonably expect. The room was large, clean, nicely furnished, and... More

We stayed in the Summer House for 4 nights in October, 2011. This was the most expensive of all the rooms at the inn. But, it was our 17th anniversary and the two of us thought we would treat ourselves. This separate little house on the hill was roomy, but ill-equipped for any kind of food preparation, even though there... More
