The Blue Iguana is a little outside of town surrounded by not-great properties, but don't let that discourage you. The resort itself is meticulously maintained and the suites well appointed and cozy. The continental breakfast is a great mix of healthy treats and fruit. The views of nearby mountains are relaxing. The staff was helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for one night while on a road trip. It was a lovely change from chain hotels and the buildings and gardens are beautiful, the check-in staff friendly and helpful and we only wish we had arrived earlier to linger longer.

Service was excellent and a beautiful quaint place. The only downside was I happen to be in the handicap room which is closest to street so it was a bit noisy. We loved everything about the hotel except there were many children there, who were very noisy. We were not aware that this hotel is more family and pet friendly than their sister hotel, the Green Iguana. Next time we will stay there.
