We had possibly the best tent cabin available - #30, isolated and facing the mountains. Maybe the last week of April is the time to be at Costanoa. We pretty much had the entire tent cabin area all to ourselves. Super quiet, clean cabin with great bed warmers and no noise. Wish we'd stayed a few more nights. Staff was... More

Camp Costanoa “You can take a short walk from Camp Costanoa to beautiful beach area or trek a bit further down the beach to a viewing deck on the cliffs” The trek to the Beach from Camp Costanoa is less than half mile, and from the beach to the north you can see Pigeon Point Light House Station in the... We went to Costanoa after getting a very good bargain through a Groupon type deal offered by Google. If we had paid full price, our excitement might have been a bit more reserved. As it was, we got a great deal on a tent that had access to the hot tub attached to the lodge, a complimentary bottle of wine... More

The first time my husband and I visited Costanoa, it was over the Christmas break. We stayed there because we were attending, on a whim, a wine dinner. The dinner was fabulous, the wine was great, the whole event was over the top. The room was great, they had a wreath-making class (for a small added fee) the next morning,... More

This place has been a favorite of mine since it opened. It is just enough off the beaten path (hwy 1) that you will feel like you are camping, even though you are not. I don't care for the fact that it is now a koa motorhome park as well, but when we go, in the fall or early spring,... More

This was my first experience with glamping. The campsite and surrounding area are beautiful. The food was awesome as was the service provided by the team members. Camping in the tents was still pretty rustic. Having a bed was great, but it was still pretty cold!

A great place for a romantic and active getaway. I had stayed in the lodge many years ago and it was very nice. At the time the Cascade restaurant was not in place and not having a good place to eat on the premises was inconvenient. Move forward about a decade and I stayed in a canvas tent, a wonderful... My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights in late February and had a great time. The restaurant is phenomenal, we had a great massage and the staff was extremely friendly. It's a short walk to the beach and you can hear the waves while you sleep. We would definitely return.

I'd give this place 3.5 stars. I was actually pleasantly surprised by our experience, but I still think it's very overpriced for what you get, so the rating reflects the value more than anything else. We're used to staying at luxury resorts, but I'm also keen to get a deal so it's definitely not about paying top-dollar. Considering the incredible... More

We arrived on Superbowl weekend (Friday) having made reservations somewhere else by mistake. We were greeted by Kim who just couldn't have been more gracious. She said she had a spot for our 32 foot 5th wheel. Sure enough, we ended up in a wonderful spot with a ton of room on one side for privacy. the other people at... More
