In a very modest area, there is this old motel run by very friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable. The room is pristine clean. We got lots of information about the area from the proprietor, which led us to venture successfully into parts we never even knew about. A wonderful find and a surprisingly successful day.

The Humboldt Gables Motel is quiet and well-equiped. It has a friendly manager that gave us a recommendation for a great pizza place down the road. Our room was clean (a little tidy between the mattress and headbord wouldn't go amiss though) and had sweet touches like Hersey kisses on the pillow.
