There are only about 3 places to stay in San Andreas so it is quite fortunate that one of them is of excellent quality. The rooms at the Robin's Nest are clean and well maintained. Unlike many other B&B each room has a private bath which is key. So, this place is more like an inn. The grounds are nicely... More

Thank you for the nice review and yes we do think of ourselves more as an Inn than a basic Bed & Breakfast. More

My husband and I were part of a wedding party that stayed at the Robin's Nest Inn. Bill and Karen provided a fabulous, warm and inviting "home" away from home! Their hospitality and genuine love of what they do is conveyed in the entire experience of the Grand Old Victorian. We stayed in the Mariner Room with a huge claw... More

Thank you. The best compliment we can hope for is people wanting to come back for a future visit as return guests are like family. More

My husband and I have stayed in several B & B's across the country and I've got to say that the Robin's Nest is one of our favorites! Bill and Karen were such wonderful hosts and made us feel like we were all life-long friends. San Andreas is a beautiful area and I am so happy we choose to stay... More

We love to hear our guests talk about their experiences in other lodging facilities and how we compare. No one is more qualified to determine what makes a facility a success than the customer. More

If you're going to stay in the area forget about a motel, instead stay here. Bill and Karen are welcoming. You will not only get good service, but you can get an idea of how folks live and work in the area. They can give you ideas of what to do and how best to get there. The breakfast is... More

Driving up to this glorious Inn was the start to a fabulous weekend! The Victorian Inn was filled with beauty, charm and intriguing historical significance. Our room was so elegant and and perfect for a romantic getaway. We were pampered & spoiled every moment. Having stayed at many B&B's in the past, I can say without reservation that it was... More

Pampering and spoiling guests is what we live for, otherwise we wouldn't be running a hands-on Inn but managing a hotel. Thanks! More

These people are kind, pro veteran, and easy to talk to. The accommodations were absolutely wonderful - in fact, beyond imagination. The decor is warm and the various room styles were exciting to pick from, although every one had so much thought put into them. I stayed in the Ingenue room and fell asleep minus my normal sleeping pill and... More

We stayed a weekend for a nearby family reunion. The innkeepers, Bill and Karen go above the call for breakfast. Check out their web site for pic's of a typical breakfast. We had sausage and eggs with grilled tomatoes and french toast along with fresh fruit and fruit soup and cheese cake to finish it off. The B&B is a... More

Family reunions are great as everyone already knows one another which adds to the "family" atmosphere we strive for. Thanks for pointing out the fact that we're located on a hill (as is the entire town) and there are steps from the parking area to the entrance. Yes the steps are wide & shallow, but there are actually 15 stairs... More

I took my parents to see the elephants at PAWS, and was so delighted to have gotten rooms at the Robin's nest, as they go fast since it is the premiere Inn to stay at while visiting PAWS. The owners Karen and Bill are so cordial and warm. The Robin's nest had all the charm of it's Victorian past. We... More

PAWS and the owners Pat & Ed have become one of our biggest referers of customers which is fitting as we both love animals, especially Elephants (Karen) and Tigers (Bill). The enthusiasm of visitors to Paws is infectious so we look forward to Paws events. More

I stayed in the Gardenia Room in connection with PAWS in June 2008. Extremely nice owners, a comfortable bed, shower to die for and very, very quiet -- even with the other rooms on the Main Floor occupied. The breakfast that everyone raves about is spot on the best breakfast you've ever had at a B&B. My room was a... More

Thanks for pointing out our success in keeping the place quiet even for the main floor rooms. Fortunately there is sufficient room in the Inn and property overall that we can relocate socializing guests to alternate areas away from other guests that might be catching a nap or retiring early. More

100 year old Victorian with 17 foot ceilings in the main house make this a stunning place. We stayed in the carousel room which is filled with carousel horses and toy carousels and is located in the attic. NICE soaking tub and very comfortable stay. Thank you. Yes, the town is limited in terms of upscale places to dine which is one of the reasons we built the outdoor kitchen center. It's important to note that even thought the better restaurants are 10 or more miles away, there is NO TRAFFIC so you can get there in under 15 minutes. More
