Lots to enjoy at Inn by the Harbor. Very helpful and courteous staff. Inclusive breakfasts. Wine. Cookies. Lovely spacious room (deluxe, overlooking the small pool) with kitchen. 10 minutes walk to beach. Free bikes hire. Certainly recommended.

Two nights spent, chosen due to apparent location (harbour) and interesting rooms / style The hotel is basically a traditional motoring inn which has been updated to a fair standard. The hotel next door is not particularly pleasant and it is on a fairly main road leading out of Santa Barbara It is a couple of blocks from the front... More

We spent two nights at the Inn by the Harbor, and it was fantastic. Our welcome by Anthony was exceptional - he made sure we knew about all the lovely little extras you get (cheese and wine in the late afternoon, cookies and milk in the evening, and a good buffet breakfast), and he even sorted out our diner reservation... . . . . because we had heard so many good things about Santa Barbara. Maybe our expectations were raised too high, but we were disappointed with this hotel. The room and bathroom was small, and because it was near the pool and main walkway, a little noisy. However, all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location of... More

Great stay, very spacious room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room had a kitchenette which was quite a bonus that we were not expecting. My only complaint would be that I wish the bathroom had an extractor. The location is convenient but you do have to drive to most things in the area (very short... More

We stayed here two nights as part of our honeymoon, the hotel grounds are very pretty with beautiful plants and a seemingly endless stream of staff cleaning and watering the whole site. The complimentary pastries, fruit and coffee, cheese and wine plus cookies and milk meant that we were never without a snack, the free bike hire made our exploring... More

Pretty, quaint inn with nice amenities. Decent sized rooms, ceiling fan is a great touch. Great service, wine and cookies are a nice touch. Easy access to shops, restaurants, and highway to Wine Country. Enjoyed our visit, I'd definitely return!

We stayed her for two night and had a great stay. The location is ideal being just off Hwy 101 and only a couple of blocks from the beach front. We had a Queen room, which was very well decorated and clean. Parking was rite out side the door and we had a sliding window onto the garden and swimming... More

We were upgraded to a bigger room, with 2 huge beds, by accident really, but it was lovely. very comfy beds, and in the afternoon, free wine and cheese from 16.30-18.30, which was a lovely touch, followed by free cookies and coffee. There is a nice pool and seating area, and also some chairs at the front of the hotel to... More

We were driving the West Coast from San Francisco to LA and were booked for the night into the Inn by the Harbor by Trailfinders. Although it's not "on" the harbour which is about 250yds away, it was a great place to stay being between the beach and the town. Usual two storey motel type in a courtyard with comfortable... More
