On the + side, it was clean and quiet. We had a renovated room. The motel is renovating so the was no office up front,we had to look for it. Breakfast was a laugh...but we did not go hungry. Bed and pillows we good.

Great value. Double room on Expedia for $79. The room is brand new. Still smelled like fresh paint. Very smartly decorated. Comfortable firm mattress. Very pleasantly surprised. Small hotel close to Santa Cruz Pier. Rooms were small but beds were okay, breakfast so, so. We were close to the pier and could walk to it. The swimming pool was small but couldn't swim as it was to cold anyway. Probably a decent hotel to stay in the summer.
