Upon arrival we were automatically upgraded to a Deluxe Fireplace Room. We were delighted and enjoyed ending our evenings with a nice natural fire. This hotel is quaint and quirky. It's definitely an older hotel but they have done a nice job refurbishing. We didn't have much time to sit around the hotel but it looked like a nice place... More

Went to this hotel with high expectations and left wanting a lot more than what I received. For starters, the location of the hotel is not convenient to anything because you have to drive wherever you want to go, even downtown Sonoma, parking is terrible, the hotel layout does not flow right, the rooms are nice but have zero views,... Stayed here in May 2012 on a golf and wine (kid-free) getaway with my wife. We really enjoyed the Fairmont and stayed in a Mission Suite overlooking the fountain. We used the pool area daily and spent many hours reading on our secluded balcony. One huge perk is the access to the exclusive Sonoma Golf Club that is one of... More

Very disappointing. The suite with a view. What a joke. After I clipped limbs from the tree growing into the balcony I called the front desk, went to the front desk and left messages raising my concerns. No response. Not a phone call, nothing. Never again. Who ever gives this place is rating is missing the mark. More

We purchased a silent auction item at a charity and the main draw and justification for paying such a high price was the great things I have heard about the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. As a Fairmont President's Club member, I have had the pleasure of staying at several Fairmont properties and have always had the best service... More

My sister and I took my Mother to this hotel last Saturday. This is a very busy weekend for the hotel. Thanks to their stellar online check-in, I was advised by 10 am that our room was ready. We were nearby sipping champagne at Domaine Carneros and nibbling on cheese and fruit so we zipped on over. Our Spa services... More

We stayed this past weekend. When we arrived there was not a person at the Valet area so we parked the car ourselves. Not too bad as the distance is not too far and there were spots in the self-park area. The Hotel has all the amenities one would expect from a Fairmont property. The bathrobes, flip-flops, umbrellas, CD in... More

Experience is great. S'mores at the fire pit are the best. Sante is amazing for dinner. We skip Big 3 for breakfast (diner) and go to an amazing little Mexican joint for Bluebottle coffee and the best Huevos Rancheros ever - El Molino Central is a must dine for breakfast, brunch, coffee or even lunch (tasty fish tacos too). Best... More

This is a beautiful resort, in a lovely setting. The staff are wonderful, friendly, considerate and helpful. The rooms well appointed, the pillows the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Northern California is beautiful, the food is really good, in short, I will visit again. More

It goes without saying that this is a wonderful luxury hotel. As others have indicated, the hotel and spa treatments are quite pricey, but I was going to run the Big Sur Marathon (that's a whole other review) and knew I'd want to pamper myself. The watsu pool was probably my favorite part--you lie there decadently in the pool and... More
