i highly recommend Aviva Inn. i've stayed here numerous times over the winter, Rika is awesome and very attentive. the rooms are are clean and come equipped with a fridge and microwave. they also have a great little continental breakfast. good location to access north lake tahoe ski areas and restaurants.

An outsanding good Inn next to Lake Tahoe. A very friendly front desk! We enjoyed two days just two walking minutes from the lake. Very nice rooms and very good breakfast! Especially fridge in the room (not usual) Cleanliness was perfect. Rooms with a fair rate.

I really Like the renovation done at this Inn. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds, and the color scheme is warm and modern. The hotel was fine, but the manager, Rika Dyer is excellent. She is very welcoming, prepares a lovely breakfast, is very personable, and made my entire stay wonderful. I highly recommend anyone to stay at this cute hotel.

We were very disappointed in the condition of the room. Bedspreads were dirty/stained. Sheets did not fit, kept coming up. Matress pad lumpy. Bathroom needed some cleaning, towel rack broken. Needed light bulbs which they did replace only one. Will not stay here again.
