The resort/lodge had everything to make the stay an excellent experience. The village style resort offered various dining outlets and some shopping. Sport/skiing fans will enjoy the facilities that are available. Other out of resort attractions are just a short drive away.

The Northstar Lodge is a beautiful resort. The rooms are beautifully decorated in "lodge-style" with high ceilings and a lot of gorgeous wood. Gorgeous Residence. We stayed in a two bedroom; over 1,000 SF. Plenty of space for a family of four to sprawl out and be comfortable. Beautifully furnished. CLEAN. Luxurious. What a beautiful place. Conveniently near the village but away from the noise of the village. Wonderful apartments though a little pricey. Some of the service staff were wonderful - in particular Ronnie. Others could learn a thing or two from Ronnie. Overall would highly recommend it. We'll be back for sure.

Our whole group took the gondola up the mountain for great hiking, while the teens road mountain bikes down. The village offers rollerskating and trampoline-fun! Hyatt NS had GREAT suites for just a couple or for families. It was the off season so NS area was quite dead. But the resort itself was nice. Hot tubs were kind of gross. There were NorthStar Resort hot tubs and a workout center they shared with the Hyatt that were much better. Nice little porches with fire places.... More
