There really isn't anything wrong with this place, but there really isn't anything wonderful about it either. If they charged 10-20 less per night, you might feel like you got a really good deal. At the current rates, it is just a bit too much to spend for a dated place with a TV that could have been recycled 10... More

On a mission to travel where I have never been before, I choose this Inn as my first stop. Was a little leary as you never know what these small motor inns will be like. I was happy to find this motel was inviting when I drove up (after dark). Check-in staff friendly and accomodating. Traveling with small puppy no... More

When we arrived our dog friendly room was ready. Lady at the desk was very helpful and cordial. If you are traveling with a dog, and want basic services and surroundings the 49er will suit you just fine. It was very clean, freshly painted and located well to be able to walk your dog. There are restaurants close by. We... More

Though there's not much choice in this mountain town you'll find this motel adequate and close to dining. Try the La Grange Cafe for dinner and the Nugget for a $2.99 breakfast special. The pricing is Ok and there's a small well kept pool and WiFi.

Where shall I start? When we checked in to our room our pillows had blood on them. The bath mat hung on the bar with a huge dirt streak on it. So we exchanged our pillows and bath mat. Everyone was very nice about it. Then we found ants in the room. We went to shower and the drain was... More

My husband and I enjoyed our second time staying at this lovely property in early August. As far as we are concerned, it is the best place to stay in Weaverville. The owners are very kind. The location is ideal. This is in a quieter part of the town. Access to restaurants, stores, etc., is ideal. We also enjoy the... More

Unfortunately, I must update a review that I made previously with current conditions. Having a relative in the area with medical problems, we travel to Weaverville three to four times per year, at a minimum. The room was not very clean this time (my first priority, I can tolerate a lot, but NOT clean is completely unacceptable). Also, the reservation... More

I recently visited Weaverville and stayed at this motel because they had the best reviews. I am really picky and usually stay in high end hotels. There are very limited options in Weaverville so I decided to try this place. I was not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. It is very clean and well managed. I stayed in a... More

The room was small as we took the older room in front. The A/C was loud so didn't use it. Could only open the bathroom window. Walking distance for all of town. The prices are high for what is offered. Like the room in the front because we could see the mountains not just asphalt like in the back. Very... More

Pros: -Location -Shower head/water pressure -WiFi -Mini fridge/microwave Cons: -Price -Mattress/pillows -Exterior Not too many choices for lodging in Weaverville. We had stayed here before and it was worth returning to again (given the choices.) The prices are always ridiculously high, but once again it isn't like you have many choices and the management knows that. The exterior of the... More
