Just had the privilege of taking my Dad to the Rawah Ranch for his 70th birthday and just cannot express how special this place is! He cannot stop talking about it! I have lived and fished all over Colorado for the last 13 years and there is nothing out there that compares to Rawah. Their two miles of private waters... More

My fishing buddies and I stayed at Rawah Ranch this spring and had an amazing experience. From the fishing, accomodations, to the food; all top notch. We caught big fish, ate wonderful food and we were taken care of as if we owned the place ourselves. Thanks to Pat, (the owner), Bobby (the chef), Jim, Scott, and Thade (our fisihing... More

We live in Fort Collins, CO and decided to find a getaway near by that would allow the family to relax and get away from the daily rat race - work, electronics, tv, phone, driving to activities, etc. We live in Fort Collins now for 10 years and were completely surprised to find the best place ever only 1.5 hr... I had the priviledge of visiting the Rawah Ranch this past October, and I cannot say enough good things about my trip! Pat and Melanie were kind enough to donate an all enclusive trip as the grand prize for the "Best of The West" fly-casting tournament, and because of this I was able to experience, as Pat likes to say,... I am a world traveler but never thought of visiting a ranch. In August of 2012, I decided to try something different from my usual cultural outings. Much to my surprise, I loved every minute. This property is located in the mountains above Fort Collins, Colorado. It was a lovely, restful environment with beautiful surroundings, fabulous food, and a wonderful... More

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The perfect opportunity for a city slicker to experience nature and the west as it was years ago. Amazing hikes with unprecedented views, horses to walk or ride and a chance to fly fish. Extremely comfortable and well appointed cabins each with a wood stove. No TV.....perfect. Food was simple, but always fresh and... More

Truly a magical place, located in a beautiful valley, great cabins, good food, good horses, riding trails through meadows and high mountains and the Laramie River runs thru the ranch. This is also a Orvis certified fishing ranch. The highest recommendation

We stayed at the Rawah for a weekend in September. It is one of the most beautiful spots on earth! The cabins are very well appointed, ours had a wonderful wood stove surrounded by river rocks and a bed to die for. The decor appeared to be something out of a Ralph Lauren catalog. The ranch is so quiet at... More
