Our stay was reasonable for the price- comfortable, quick shuttle to the mountain, clean. A major safety concern for us was the indoor pool in the lobby had no gate to prevent kids from getting in the pool area. This was a concern because the rooms had no deadbolt or way to prevent the younger kids from opening a door at night and wondering into the lobby. A few more minor issues were the wifi that didn't work most of the time, and kitchen lacking enough cooking supplies, and heating that was difficult to control. Overall was still reasonable for the price.

This place is not worthy. Not handicapped accessible. There are no elevators or escalators. There are no ice machines in bldg and no ice trays in freezer to make ice. Lights didnt work in our room, on the third floor, and my girl could not get an elevator. Fireplace would have been nice, but it was locked. Not sure if other rooms are like this one, but it shouldn't be available at all.

Stayed here during a recent ski trip to Crested Butte. Rooms are functional and reasonably modern. The building is dated and has huge common areas with pool/hot tub. Location is close to the ski lifts, but not really close enough to walk it easily with all your ski gear. The free parking is a good thing. Room layout is kind of strange as you enter directly into the bedrooms and the kitchen common area are in the back. The Apartment with Balcony has plenty of room four. It is a little crowded for six.

We stayed at this location and booked through a separate party and were unfortunately switched upon arrival without warning. We paid for a much nicer accommodation and were switched to a poor room, without any compensation or understanding. The emergency number was not functional as no one called us back when needed, beds were very uncomfortable, neighbors were incredibly loud with no service personnel around to control after our numerous attempts. Crested Butte is such a stunning place and the location of the Three Seasons is incredibly ideal but the service they provided us was so poor I would not stay there again.

First, and very important to us, very convenient to bus to mountain and to town. Interesting layout for rooms--walking into the bedrooms (separately) which both then connect to the living area. Cozy would be a word for it, but very functional. Clean. Pool has been out of order, and fireplaces have been closed off for years. Otherwise, a great value for the money as long as you are not expecting luxury.

We stayed here with our church youth group - 12 teens, 4 adults in three condos. Plenty of room for all of us. The shared spaces made it so nice for our group. Game and laundry room on the lower level, plus hang-out space on the main floor. The pool was a little cold, but the kids used it. Hot tub was nice and there was several places just to sit and enjoy the views of the mountain. Shuttle ride was minor and on nice days we could walk to the lifts. Parking was not a problem even with multiple cars. Staff was so friendly we would not hesitate to use them again. NO problems with our condos.

The rooms are much larger than a hotel room, and include a full kitchen. We made breakfast in the condo and had dinner downtown each night of our stay. We think the location is great, the bus comes by every 15 minutes to get to the ski lifts-but you could walk, too- and if you want to go downtown you just need to change buses at the terminal. This is our second visit, last year we came with our church so we saw many other rooms. They are all decorated differently, but for the most part seem to be upgraded with new furnishings and appliances and were nice and clean. Note-143 seemed to be much smaller than the rest of the condos. We also had a one bedroom, but our living room and kitchen were much larger. The desk staff was friendly and helpful, especially Kate and Pauline. If we come back to Crested Butte, we would definately stay here again.

I've stayed here with crested butte lodging the past couple seasons, and will never stay with them again. There were dirty dishe in the sink, cigarette butts all over the back porch and when I brought that up with management they basically laughed in my face. Told me it was a personal problem. Then persisted that I make sure my room was spotless upon checkout. Very rude and disrespectful front desk staff. I tried to bring all this up with the property manager and she told me the same thing basically. Do not stay here if you want to enjoy your stay in crested butte.

Response from GM-CB-Lodging, Manager at Three Seasons Condominiums
Responded 20 Mar 2015
Hi Jeffersonblack, Could you tell me a little more about your stay? In particular, what unit number you stayed in, stay dates (to see who was working), and name it was booked under only if you want--I understand if you would rather keep the name private. Honestly I'm mortified to hear about your negative experience and need to get to the bottom of this. Please feel free to email me at reservations@crestedbuttelodging.com when you get the chance Here's the thing-- multiple property management companies and individuals oversee and rent units in our Three Seasons complex. Our office and company are located in the complex (next to the pool) while others are located off-site. But we rent out more short-term condos here than any other company--by far. (That's why we own and manage this business listing). If you could let me know any additional information, I would greatly appreciate it. This info will prove essential in making sure this never happens again. If you booked through or dealt with another property manager, I will need to 1) inform the company of the their failure in service and 2) clarify on this review page that this experience has no bearing on our company, Crested Butte Lodging and Property Management. We take great pride in customer service provided and our front desk staff always does as much as they can to accommodate guests-- Even if they booked through VRBO or its affiliate sites. In other words, we genuinely care. Please feel free to email me at reservations@crestedbuttelodging.com at your earliest convenience if you can provide any addition information! Sincerely, Crested Butte Lodging Staff

We have been staying here for many years and have seen updates in some condos but not others. It is best to ask staff to book you into a recently updated condo. Most recent stay was great. The condo had been updated very recently with granite, new carpet, and stone back splashes/ showers. Skiing was great and Crested Butte is a perfect ski town with great restaurants and it's also good for family fun. Three Seasons is the best value on the mountain and the indoor pool can't be beaten. The big hot tub needs a redo and it's not ski in ski out but the free bus comes by every 15 minutes and these are not big issues. A new center for the performing arts is being built just across the street.

Pros: Great value! (hotels.com) Kitchenette. Decent location (in resort area, not in town, but if you're going for skiing, very near ski area). Specific to our room (143): some renovations done. Cons: Each room/condo individually owned, so no guarntee what you'll get No A/C in building Bedroom at entrance to room (awkward!). Specific to our room: No dining table (strange when you have a kitchenette) Lack of lighting Uncomfortable seating in living room No fans (ceiling or box, which could have been a huge issue if the weather had warmed up).
