******I haven't been able to get a hold of the cabins by phone or online. Online it says "website under construction" ... PLEASE tell me they did not close. I try to go every summer! Can anyone assist? ********

The warm welcome we received from Diane and Kevin on our arrival was the first clue that this was to be no ordinary travel experience. The Cabins at Bear Creek is extraordinary. A friend recommended the Cabins at Bear Creek to us as part of our southwestern CO road trip-- what a GREAT spot!! They are about halfway between Durango and Telluride, surrounded on 3 sides by National Forest. A river DOES run through it-- our cabin (one of only 2) was within a few feet of the trout in Bear Creek.... More
