Ask Carol about the ghost that lives upstairs! If you've ever wanted to stay in an authentic mountain ghost town, this is your chance. The rooms are all different in typical B&B style, some with brass beds and all pretty chilly in the winter. The Goldminer is quaint and historic, and the innkeepers are friendly and make a great breakfast. Ask for the room with th jacuzzi-style tub. They also have a hot tub downstairs. Eldora is a good ski resort for families and for the beginning to intermediate skier. It's nice because you can ski in Colorado without fighting the traffic on Interstate... More
