This place is beautiful and very peaceful. The Stargazer cabin is very nice and is stocked with everything my family and i needed for a relaxing week. The management here is very helpful and kind. Being this close to Pagosa Springs is great, but i could spend my whole day on the deck looking at the amazing mountain view and... More

We have stayed at Harts three different times and have no desire to even look for another place. We love the seclusion that is offered and the cabins are superior to anything else we have seen. They are stocked with everything you need for a very comfortable stay and we LOVE the free firewood. It is very close to town... More

My husband and our three grown children, along with their spouses and a girlfriend, recently enjoyed a short vacation at Hart's Rocky Mountain Retreat in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We stayed in the largest cabin, the Comardo, which has a spacious family room with a fireplace and a large deck facing the east. The sunrise in the morning was spectacular as... More

Our stay at Hart's Rocky Mountain Retreat was great! We stayed in the Camardo cabin. It was very spacious and clean. The cabin was well supplied with everything you would need to cook and have a week's worth of fun. You are in the mountains and woods when you are here, but still close to town and fishing. Summary: For Pagosa Springs, this is one of the better places to stay - and the bakery and Allen House are excellent! However, the grocery store in downtown Pagosa Springs has just been closed and you will need to stock up in Alamosa on your way here (from the east) or drive west through Pagosa Springs a few miles up... 10-7-09 Beautiful setting, quiet, wildlife...a retreat. This was my first trip to Pagosa Springs and staying at Hart's made this more than just a business trip. The scenery was amazing - I only wish I'd had more time to spend there. Pam H More

We absolutely LOVE Hart's Rocky Mountain Retreat! There are 4 rental cabins located on 36 acres about 5 minutes outside of Pagosa Springs. We have stayed in all but one and would highly recommend ANY of them. The cabins themselves are quite beautiful inside with fine furnishings and fully stocked kitchens. Their smallest cabin is the "Hummingbird" which is ideal... More

I was so excited when I found out that I would be spending my Honeymoon at the Hart's retreat. I had been there in the winter and loved it, so I was ready to see Pagosa Springs in the summer. The weather was perfect, between 70 and 80 degrees. We saw wild animals every day right outside our windows and... More

I stayed while in Pagosa Springs on business. The cabins are beautifully-built houses on secluded property outside of town. I was in Eagle's Nest, which has great views and quiet deck where I could work. It was hard to leave for my meeting. I would have liked to stay and soak in the jetted tub, with its mountain view, rather... More

What a beautiful set up. These homes are nestled in the heart of Pagosa Springs,Co. The homes came with everything we needed to feel at home. The view from the "Eagles Nest" of the Mountains was breath taking. Very peaceful. The owners, Bob and Mary Hart were the nicest folks you could ever meet and were very helpful when asked... More
