On Highway 50 bypassing the scenic downtown, this hotel is fairly near everything. Clean comfortable rooms, good breakfast and very nice staff welcome you. Didn't use the pool, but the people who did seemed happy with it. A good example of the Holiday Inn Express chain.

Rude, lazy staff. Hot tub was cold with little water in it. Rooms were tidy but not clean. Bed was too firm. TV was old and remote needed batteries. Light bulbs needed replaced. Internet was painfully slow. Location is excellent, close to everything. Bathrooms are small but shower is awesome.

Large clean room, decent price and friendly staff. Anyone expecting more is in the wrong place. If you're staying the night in Salida, you could probably do worse and probably not better. Nothing else to add but review too short so adding this additional sentence.

Clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and everything was in perfect condition. Especially noticed how quiet it was. Particularly impressed with the breakfast offerings - a very solid start to the day and everything was hot, fresh, and plentiful. The hotel is not within easy walking distance from downtown but very convenient otherwise. Highly recommend.

Nice place, clean and comfortable. Good place to rest after a long day. Breakfast was good -- especially the pancakes! Staff very friendly. Easy to get to on main road through town. Would stay here again when back in Salida.
