Snowmass is the ideal location for a family vacation, Summer or Winter. We have experienced both now and will be back. The staff at the Capitol Peak couldn't be nicer and more helpful. One front desk manager even took me and my daughter fly fishing in his day off! More

The Capitol Peak lodge is in fact three lodges at the new base village. They are brand new and the rooms are lovely. However, the cost is astronomical, and not really worth it. While the hotel is great, the guy at the front is very unfriendly. He did not send us a luggage cart for 2 hours despite repeated calls and we missed our shuttle to the airport. Capitol Peak is in a new development that still is under construction. The units are new and in top condition. I have never stayed in a condo with a kitchen as well equipped with high end appliances, pots and pans, wine glasses. I am a gourmet cook and was impressed to even find things like a wisk.
