This place was beautiful. We had plenty of room, the people were so nice and helpful, it was located right across from the ski lifts and gondola access into town, shops were within walking distance and the units were nicely appointed with upscale appliances and finishings. We loved having a bbq grill off the deck to cook on. We absolutely... More

For the last eight years, the Fairmont Heritage Place, Franz Klammer Lodge has been utilizing a somewhat controversial memory foam mattress. While many of our guests have enjoyed the sleeping experience, others have not. In today’s competitive environment one must be responsive to our patron’s desires and provide much more than just outstanding service and a great location. Simply stated,... More

Our family of 2 adults and 5 kids stayed in a 3 bedroom property at Franz Klammer in January 2012. Valet, Check-In and Bell Staff were attentive and helpful. After entering the property we saw that the management staff of the Klammer had left a birthday card (personally signed by the staff. Very nice :) and a teddy bear, for... More

This property has so much potential! It certainly feels like the Fairmont cheaply remodeled an apartment complex. Old school stucco inside, outdated everything. If you must ski Telluride, then this place is a good choice. It won't compare to the luxury properties of Whistler, Vail or even Tahoe, so set your expectations! More

I actually stayed at a friends house while skiing at Telluride, and wanted to find a spa close to the slopes. Friends recommended both The Peaks & Franz Klammer Lodge - the staff at Franz Klammer Lodge were happy to talk to me about the spa, treatments, packages & reservations even though I wasn't staying on the property. (When the... More

Just got back from a 4 day weekend ski trip. It was our 2nd trip to Telluride and the first staying at the Fairmont. This isn't really a hotel, it is a time share condo complex. Having said that, the level of service was great. The 3 bedroom condo was spacious. The carpets and furniture were a little worn, but... More

Just got back from vacation with our family of five (3 boys 7-15 yrs old) for the first time in Telluride and at FHP Franz Klammer -- loved it! This place is ideally located next to the lifts, so it's truly ski in/out complete with ski valet. Concierge service was top notch as they assisted with recommendations and reservations. We... More

This is an outstanding property. Large rooms, tastefully decorated and great pool and spa facilities. Located in the center of the Village right in front of the lifts. Very well run. Can't miss with this hotel. More

My husband and I and another couple stayed here for the second time in two years, this time during the beginning of ski season at Telluride. What a wonderful place! Upon arrival we entered the heated garage, a valet took our car, others unloaded all of our luggage, skis and miscellaneous items, then a really nice young woman took us... More

My wife and I spent four nights here in the summer. This was our first visit, and we were pleasantly surprised by all aspects of this business stay. The hotel consists of condominiums rented out when available. Our condo was large, with two big bedrooms and baths, a common area with leather chairs, couch, and large-screen TV, a dining area,... Shared a timeshare with family. Quite a beautiful setting in the San Juan mountains of southwest Colorado. More a ski resort than a summer destination but with all the public trails and free transportation, it should be more popular in the summer. Very attentive concierge 24 hours a day; if something needing fixing, it was accomplished immediately. Kleenex boxes everywhere... More
