Disgusting and dirty place. Sheets were not changed from last guest, drool and bodily fluids all over sheets and comforter. Requested clean bedding and were told they didn't have any because their laundry machines were out of order. We ended up taking the blankets and sheets to the local laundromat to wash them. The bathrooms were gross, mildew and other... More

Stayed first week of 2012. Largely unchanged creaky old ski lodge. Inviting lobby with couches in front of fireplace. Indoor hot tubs. Buffet style meals. Not fancy but if you're tired from skiing, it's all you need. Never saw ghost earlier reviewer mentioned. Good location. More

We stayed here for a month, until we found a permanent residence. It was OK because there were beds and pillows and it wasn't infested with bed bugs. My concern is the black mold that was growing behind our toilet tank, the mold growing on the shower curtain, the food we found hiding behind one of the dressers, and the... More

We were guests last week at the Beaver Village Lodge.(March 22-28, 2011). We were in Winter Park for Nastar skiing. I had read the reviews about this lodge and was not expecting much...but was pleasantly surprised. 1. Upon arrival the outside looks just like the pics. Very quaint. Parking lot is awful but where there is snow there are rough... More

I stayed for two nights in this lodge before finding alternate accommodation. The doorways to the bathrooms are particularly narrow, at 26 inches or 66cm. As per the other reviews, I can confirm that the rooms are not pleasant, they are dirty, the pillows resembled poached eggs gone wrong, the curtain was falling off it's holder, only 2 out of... More

Please be aware that people here are writing bad reviews about Beaver Village - NOT Sawmill Station Townhomes. The picture and descriptions are Beaver Village. I have stayed at Sawmill Station Townhomes and they are very nice, spacious townhomes with excellent staff. Trip Advisor needs to correct the search and titling of these reviews. More

Beaver Village Lodge is like a European ski lodge so those who expect an American Aspen-like experience would not understand the charm. We stayed during Feb. 2008 for skiing with our 3.5 year old son. The food was good, and we met many people from other countires. As my husband said, "This is a place for real skiers" Everyone eats... When my friend and I checked in, it was about 9 o'clock. Somehow, our reservations got messed up and the front desk manager was on the phone with his boss for so long that we went and got pizza while he worked out our reservations. He had told us that we would get an upgrade because the situation got so... More

I was disappointed by this place for a few reasons. The online maps made it seem as if it was in the town of Winter Park, where in reality it is just on the outside fringe of town. And, many of the condo units (including ours) are up a hilly road, about .5 mile from the main road. These things... More

My relatives came from across the US for a family reunion at the Beaver Village Resort to find a run-down, dirty complex with thoughtless and unhelpful staff and management. They didn't tell us that the resort is located ON the rail line so the noise was unavoidable and continuous. Nor, did they say the resort was under construction and the... More
