I have been to the Inn many times over the years and have always been impressed with the quality of service, the comfort of the rooms, and the excellent daily tea served in the afternoon. No matter who I have traveled with or what time on year, the Inn remains consistent. go there any time to get away and relax.... More

My husband and two kids recently returned from a one night stay at the Inn at Mystic. What a disappointment - the place is a one star motel at best. We would have left but checked in late after a day of sightseeing and didn't want to pack up the kids and drive home. All of the other hotels in... More

Unfortunately when we arrived at The Hilton Mystic where we had reservations (thru Priceline) I found out they overbooked and moved us to the Inn...really?...since it was Presidents Day weekend the whole area was booked...what a dreary run down place...rooms were typical motel rooms, smelled musty and were outdated...the free breakfast was nothing to speak, I've never seen my husband... Decided to stay the weekend at the Inn at Mystic, based on my daughter's experience there and found it to be a charming place ! My fiance' and I thought it was clean, the fireplace and huge jacuzzi were really awesome. The hotel's restaurant food was outstanding and the view of L.I. Sound was really nice too because of the... Your wedding day is meant to be memorable, magical and the happiest time of your life. I am a CT native but my husband (then fiancé) and I currently live in Minnesota and were planning our "destination" wedding from afar. The Inn manager, Jody Dyer was a nightmare to work with. We had 60% of our guest fly in from... More

We reserved the "gate house" which is supposedly their best room. It has a wood fireplace and mirrored jacuzzi. The photos on-line are beautiful. Don't be fooled. Not only was it pricey but the bathroom door wouldn't slide closed. The furniture was ancient and the area around the jacuzzi needs replacement. It smelled like mold so we opened the windows.... If you are considering a wedding here i highly recommend looking elsewhere. While most hotels in mystic are thrilled to discuss wedding plans with you and are excited to share in planning your day, erin and jodi at the inn at mystic are rude, dismissive and shockingly impossible to work with. Furthermore, they are seemingly unable to give straight answers,... More

After staying at the Boston Sheraton we stayed here for two nights on the second leg of our New England trip. Really disappointed with our room which probably hasn't been decorated since they had their famous honeymooners visit. Only saving grace was the view overlooking the river. Breakfast and afternoon tea is fairly mediocre and the entire place needs a... More

Well, it's not that we had a bad time. The Inn is easy to find, well located (10 minutes walk from the downtown), and the staff are nice enough. The restaurant is actually quite good, and the afternoon tea is delightful. And of course I haven't seen ALL the rooms. But our room was quite dated, even worn. It's also... More

We just attended a wedding on the property. It was in the mansion which was expanded with tents. I was never so cold at an event as I was there. Not to mention, the tents leaked! Many people resorted to wearing their coats. Yes, we did have a noreaster that day, but that was expected far enough in advance that... More
