- New Haven La Quinta

This hotel needs an update on the rooms. Mold on curtain, broken tile and tubs that do not drain. Our door creaked every time you opened it. The air conditioner did not stay on and the room got hot. Advertised a $79.00 rate on the building when we arrived but was charged a higher rate and the lower rate was...

Well, this one could have been worse. That is the best I really can say about it. The room was (mostly) clean, except for some mold and unclean corners in the bath. AC worked marginally, but after some ramp up time, did work adequately. I go to La Quinta because it is dog friendly. Sometimes it is better to very...

Arriving @ La Quinta, I was shown to what they described as a nice, quiet corner room. The bed was not quite made to any hotel standard, so I wasn't quite sure that the room had been serviced properly. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The La Quinta in Durham was way better ( 5 stars ) and cheaper. The New Haven hotel was pretty dated and the rooms not very clean. There where spots (sink, night stand) all over from previous occupants.
The bed was ok, soundproofing in the room nonexistent. You could clearly hear every word of...

This is not a five star establishment but it does well for a hotel of its class. Room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Overall a reasonable place to stay if you are happy with a basic hotel. Check in staff were pleasant and the breakfast was fine, if you like making your own waffles this is the place for you!

When we arrived the reservation was incorrect. Wally at the front desk was very patient and kind but definitely overwhelmed as we opted to wait for him to check in the line that shortly formed after we arrive. BIG MISTAKE, they just kept coming. Finally after getting our rooms my wife goes up before me and finds one of the...
