First stop to New England from new York and a handy location, just off the freeway. Staff are welcoming, rooms are clean and tidy, with all amenities. Free breakfast served next to the lobby,perfectly adequate, with a good choice of cereals, pastries and of course coffee.

Spent 2 pleasant nights at Econo Lodge in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. Its better priced, large rooms, full of amenities and less noisy though close to everything. Wi-Fi speed was excellent, breakfast was fabulous and friendly front desk.
